Recycled vs Refinished ... What's the difference? Recycled golf balls have been professionally cleaned to get them looking as new as possible, but nothing more. Refinished golf balls go through a state of the art refinishing process which includes removing previous imperfections and paint, then re-painted and a new layer of clear-coat is applied.
